These dogs are naturally happy with other dogs and household animals. Companionship with children will never lead to problems. These dogs are friendly to all people and will greet everyone as a friend. EXERCISE
The English Setter needs quite a lot of exercise. Take it for regular long walks or let it run alongside a cycle once it is fully grown. They have a tendency to wander and you should make sure you have a good fence.
